    Guests may begin arriving at Fairview Farm Events.

    Ceremony

    Outdoor ceremony on the grass.

    Cocktail Hour

    Indoors, cool and comfortable.

    Reception

    Dinner, drinks, dancing, and celebration.

  5. 11:00 PM–1:30 AM

    After Party

    Join us in the game room to keep the party going.

We ask that guests wear semi-formal attire, such as:

It can get pretty hot in Virginia in June. The ceremony takes place outdoors on grass, while cocktail hour and the reception are indoors with air conditioning.

A word on shoes: the lawn is kind to block heels and flats.

FAQs

What is the dress code?

Semi-formal attire such as cocktail dresses, jumpsuits, suits, blazers, and slacks. Virginia can get quite warm in June — the ceremony is outdoors on grass, while cocktail hour and the reception are indoors with air conditioning.

Are children invited?

Although we love your little ones, we have decided to make our wedding an adults-only event. We hope this allows everyone a well-deserved night off to celebrate with us.

Is the ceremony unplugged?

Yes, kindly. We invite you to be fully present with us during the ceremony — please silence your devices and enjoy the moment. Our photographer will capture it all, and we would love to share those pictures with you afterwards.

Will there be drinks?

Yes — we are planning to serve wine, beer, and spirits. Please enjoy drinks on us.

Where can I find accommodations?

Will transportation be provided?

Yes. There is ample parking at the venue for guests who choose to drive, and guests staying at the Hilton will have a bus carrying them between the hotel and Fairview Farm Events.

Can I bring a plus one?

We will only be able to accommodate the guests listed on your invitation. Thank you for understanding.

Which airport should I use?

Richmond International is the closest and most convenient option. Dulles and Norfolk are also available for guests who find better travel options there.

What can I do if I arrive early?
